Visual hierarchy makes visitors read the page in your intended order—headline first, description next, button last.Where the eye lands first on a page is not random: size, color, and position steer it. The headline is biggest and boldest so it lands first; the description sits one shade lighter so it reads second; the button carries a fill so it pops last. A page that "looks messy" usually has everything equally large and equally heavy, leaving the eye nowhere to start.

Three ways to layer

Size: More important means bigger. Headline clearly above subtitle, subtitle clearly above body—gaps wide enough to tell apart at a glance.

Shade and fill: Key content in dark ink, secondary one shade lighter; buttons stand out by fill rather than font size.

Position: Higher on the page gets seen sooner—things in the hero are noticed before anything at the bottom.
