Visual Hierarchy
You might say
This page feels chaotic—everything is the same size. Layer it: headline dominant, description secondary, button most visible.
Visual hierarchy makes visitors read the page in your intended order—headline first, description next, button last.Where the eye lands first on a page is not random: size, color, and position steer it. The headline is biggest and boldest so it lands first; the description sits one shade lighter so it reads second; the button carries a fill so it pops last. A page that "looks messy" usually has everything equally large and equally heavy, leaving the eye nowhere to start.
